What is Google Business Profile?
A Google Business Profile is the free listing that Google shows for a business on Search and Maps: name, address, hours, phone, photos, reviews and a link to the website. It feeds the map pack and is often the first thing a buyer sees, before the website.
What it means for a small service business
Many small businesses have a profile they never claimed, with the wrong hours, no photos and reviews nobody answers. It is the shop window Google built for you, and it is doing you harm if it is bare. Claiming it takes ten minutes.
