This website is run by Sydex Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, registered office Forton Business Park, Lancaster New Road, Forton, Preston PR3 1AD. Contact: sam@sydex.co.uk. The full business address appears on invoices and agreements and is available on request. References to Sydex mean Sydex Ltd.
What this site is for
The site describes what Sydex does, publishes guides, and lets you request a free website review. Everything on it is general information, not advice tailored to your situation, and not professional advice of any regulated kind. The instant health check is an automated first look, not a full audit; the written review that follows is the considered piece of work.
What you can rely on
Prices shown are real and current at the time of writing, and price changes never apply to work already agreed. Guides are written honestly from research; where a number is cited it comes from a named source. Nothing on this site guarantees rankings, AI mentions or business results, because nobody honest can guarantee those. Client work is governed by the signed client agreement, which takes priority over this page wherever the two touch the same subject.
Whose content it is
The words, design and code of this site belong to Sydex. Read it, share links to it, quote it with credit. Do not copy pages wholesale, republish the guides as your own, or use the content to train commercial datasets without permission. The Sydex name and logo are Sydex's; do not use them in a way that suggests endorsement. The demonstration websites linked from Sydex are fictional showcases and marked as such; nothing in them is a real business claim.
Fair use of the tools
The review request, health check and any tool added to this site later exist for business owners genuinely interested in their own website. Automated scraping, bulk submissions, probing for weaknesses, or pointing tools at sites you have no connection with is not on, and access can be limited or blocked without notice. Tools may be changed, rate-limited or withdrawn at any time.
Availability
The aim is for this site to be up and fast all the time; the promise is reasonable effort, not perfection. Pages, tools and features can change or disappear as the business evolves, and something being free today does not oblige it to be free forever, though nothing already agreed with a client changes without agreement.
Links to other places
Where this site links elsewhere, what you find there is theirs, not Sydex's. Linking to sydex.co.uk is welcome; framing it inside another site or misrepresenting the relationship is not.
The legal bit
This site is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, Sydex is not liable for loss arising from use of this website or reliance on its general content, including indirect losses and loss of profit. Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stands. Not enforcing a term once is not a waiver of it. These terms give no rights to anyone under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999. Sydex may assign these terms to a successor entity of the business; that changes who provides, never what was promised. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
When this page changes
These terms get updated as the business grows. The date at the top says when. Continued use of the site after a change means the current version applies; signed client agreements are never changed this way.
