What is DNS?
DNS (domain name system) is the set of records attached to a domain that tell the internet where its website lives, where its email is delivered, and which servers may send email in its name. Changing the wrong record can take a business offline or lose its email.
What it means for a small service business
This is where websites move, email breaks and fraud protection lives. The single most dangerous step in any website move is a DNS change made by someone who did not first check where the email runs. Sydex records every mail record before touching anything.
