What is Care plan?
A care plan is the monthly service that keeps a website working after it launches: updates and content handled, search standing worked, rankings and AI answers tracked, security and backups kept, and results reported. Sydex’s is £295 a month, cancellable by a message after three months.
What it means for a small service business
The industry version is a retainer for a report nobody reads. The test of a care plan is whether you can see, in plain terms, what was done each month and what it produced. If you cannot, you are paying for hosting with a bigger name.
Does your business need to do anything about Care plan?
A website left alone decays within a year. The question is only whether the care is visible and fairly priced.
